I always use this when I go to the gun range. Great quality and noise reduction.

This item has decent noise cancellation. I got the electronic version also by the same maker. They both fit identical. A nice snug fit that keeps out the main gun shot noise. Let's say an 8 out of 10 for noise.The electronic version keeps out even more gun shot bang and is a 10 out of 10. The reason its 3 stars is because the ear muffs aren't really big enough to totally go around your ears. I have to tuck my earlobes up to fit it in the ear muffs. The same thing with the electronic version. For the price, it's a good deal. Just wish the size was a little bigger. Plus the extension of bringing the ear muffs down far enough is lacking. Why it's made with a limited adjustment doesn't make any sense. Just make the poles they slide down on, another 3/4" and the adjustment would be perfect. And yes I have a large head but they were the same lack of length on my son who has a much smaller head. Easy fix. I doubt the manufacturer will read this & change anything about the design for such an easy fix.
