This bag sealer works, but it has enough drawbacks that I can't give it more than 3 stars.The good news is that it does create a decent seal once it heats up, and it can be useful for resealing snack bags and other food packaging. When the seal takes properly, it does a good job of helping keep food fresh.However, the small form factor makes it less convenient than I expected. For larger bags, you have to make multiple passes to seal the entire opening, which can become time-consuming. I also found that the edges of bags often require a second pass because they don't always seal completely on the first try. If you're not careful, you'll end up with small gaps that allow air back into the bag.The built-in magnet is another feature that sounds nice in theory, but it's fairly weak and not especially useful.Overall, the sealer gets the job done, but it requires more effort and attention than I would prefer. This little gadget ended up being surprisingly useful. It seals snack bags, cereal bags, and other packaging quickly, helping keep food fresher longer. The rechargeable design means there are no batteries to constantly replace, and the built-in cutter is a convenient addition. It's one of those kitchen tools you end up using more than expected. It took me a minute to get it to work properly but that was the users fault not the sealers.

It works well especially when patient enough on larger items to do a section at a time. I'm glad I bought it for resealing cracker & chip bags & sealing plastic bags with no other seal options on them.
